​Dr. Harumi Jyonouchi, M.D. has done extensive work in clinical immunology and neuroimmunology. She is affiliated with Saint Peter's University Hospital. Dr. Jyonouchi received her medical degree at Yokohama City University School of Medicine, Japan. She had done her allergy/immunology fellowship at South Florida University, FL. For the past 15 years, her research has focused on the role of the immune system on autism and immunological disorders. She is a currently funded by the State of New Jersey Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism for her research project titled, “Autism Spectrum Disorder - Inflammatory Subtype: Molecular Characterization.” Dr. Jyonouchi is being funded for her research by Hope4Spandana.

Dr. Anita Kishen has pediatric practices in both Plainfield and Colonia, NJ. As a pediatrician, her main goal is help parents raise healthy and happy children. She wants to have a positive impact in the lives of children by providing them with exceptional health care and compassionate service. She offers a full range of pediatric care, including prenatal visits for expecting parents, well–child check–ups, immunizations, sick appointments and after hour direct access to providers. Dr. Kishen also sets aside time to equip parents with the tools and resources necessary for the development of healthy children from birth to adolescence. She is a valuable advisor to the Hope4Spandana team and provides the organization with a scientific point of view on the need for funds for Autism especially for areas in underdeveloped countries such as Ananthapur.  

Dr. Hari Kalla, M.D. is a hematologist in Abilene, Texas. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Abilene Regional Medical Center and Hendrick Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College and has been in practice for 25 years. He is one of 3 doctors at Abilene Regional Medical Center and one of 7 at Hendrick Medical Center who specialize in Hematology. His input as an advisor of Hope4Spandana has been very influential and significant as his experience and vast knowledge in medicine help guide us successfully in our cause. 

 Dr. Srinivas Mendu specializes in Internal Medicine. He received his medical education from Rangaraya Medical College and NTR University of Health Sciences, graduating in 1991. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai School of Med. His offices are located in NJ including his Advanced Digestive Center.  He has worked with young children and provided a full range of care for them. He has been working along with Hope4Spandana and supporting the cause with his expertise and encouragement. 


Dr. Santhosh Cheela​, M.D, is a doctor specialized in gastroenterology in Old Bridge, New Jersey. He's affiliated with many hospitals and medical centers including JFK Medical Center where he is one of twenty specialists in his field and Raritan Bay Medical Center where he is one of nineteen. He has been practicing gastroenterology for the past 38 years and received his medical degree from Gandhi Medical School. Dr. Cheela is also a diplomat for the American Boards of Internal Medicine, a member of the American Medical Association, and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. His addition to the Hope4Spandana Advisory Board is essential because of his experience and knowledge in the fields of medicine and science.
